Presentation Description: This session aims to provide a comprehensive, interactive, and practical exploration of CPT best practices, drawing from the  experiences of diverse institutions to help attendees enhance their own CPT programs.

  • Understand Regulatory Requirements: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current regulations governing Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and how different institutions interpret and implement these guidelines.
  • Explore Institutional Models: Examine diverse models of CPT programs from various schools, including innovative approaches to integrating CPT with academic curricula and career services.
  • Identify Best Practices: Learn about successful strategies and practices for managing CPT, including administrative processes, student advising, employer partnerships, and compliance monitoring.
