How can we develop and implement comprehensive internationalization strategies that are suitable for our institutions while being inclusive, ethical, and sustainable? How can we obtain buy-in and transform institutional culture so that inclusive and ethical comprehensive internationalization becomes an enduring priority? What does “ethical, inclusive, and sustainable comprehensive internationalization” mean and look like in practice? Come explore these questions and envision new approaches to comprehensive internationalization that may or may not win you a Simon Award.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define what “ethical, inclusive, and sustainable comprehensive internationalization” means and looks like in practice.
  • Identify one or more resources for further developing your knowledge of comprehensive internationalization and its best practices.
  • Determine one change you would like to implement at your institution to make internationalization more inclusive, ethical, and/or sustainable.
