International Graduate Student Success in an Undergraduate World

Presentation Description: As demographics of the international students in the US shift, institutions must adapt campus support services designed for undergrads to accommodate the unique needs of growing grad international student populations. An interactive panel discussion will detail needs and discuss strategies for implementing resources to best support this population. Three interrelated topics are student support services to meet the unique needs of grad international students, a system for early intervention to use first-semester reduced course loads, and a sense of belonging on campus.
