As Assistant Dean and Associate Director of the Office of Pluralism and Leadership (OPAL) at Dartmouth College, Amanda (she/her) oversees undergraduate international student advising, including the International Student Mentoring and Pre-Orientation Programs, as well as women and gender student advising. Born and raised in Seattle, Amanda is a child of refugees and a first-generation college student, holding a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Salem State University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont. Her experience in Student Affairs has included completing a NODA Internship as the inaugural Orientation and Student Leader Graduate Intern at Whittier College, serving as a Graduate Resident Director at the University of Denver, and working in the Office of Student and Community Relations at the University of Vermont. She currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for Outright Vermont, a statewide nonprofit building a Vermont where LGBTQ+ youth have hope, equity, and power.
