Andrew L. Palmacci is the Assistant Director, Global Programs and Students Advising on the Education Abroad and Domestic Programs Team in the Office of Internationalization and Equity at Emerson College. Formerly, he taught French and Art Appreciation at a high school in the Boston area. He holds a B.A. in English from Boston College; Master's degrees in French from Middlebury College's French School and in International Higher Education with a specialization in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University. He has studied at the Paris Center for Critical Studies/University of Paris–III; the University of Poitiers and the University of Salamanca. He has worked as a writer and interviewer at New York- and Paris-based bilingual advocacy organization CALEC; as the Fall 2021 graduate student intern at the Harvard International Office; and at SIS: Intercultural Study Abroad in Siena, Italy as a graduate student program assistant. His research interests include the intersection of language acquisition and study abroad and he engages in creative non-fiction travel writing.
