TLS Open Meeting: Data, Research, Networking, Collaboration, and Engagement Opportunities

Participants will be able to build community as scholar-practitioners by identifying regional needs and discussing available resources under the TLS umbrella. They will engage in meaningful networking and collaboration, enhancing their understanding of how data and research can support community-building efforts within the TLS framework.

TLS spans all NAFSA KCs. In this open meeting, facilitators invite attendees to share their best practices and successful data driven decisions as well as how to create, find, and share resources. Facilitators will actively encourage group discussions and provide opportunities to network and collaborate so attendees may leave the session feeling supported and uplifted in their TLS pursuits. Opportunities will be promoted for engagement through subcommittees, interest groups, and possible poster/presentation/research collaborations for the annual conference.

Learning Objectives:

  • Community Building: Foster connections among scholar-practitioners to collaboratively address regional needs and enhance resource sharing within the TLS framework.
  • Resource Sharing: Identify and discuss available resources that support collaborative efforts, ensuring all participants are informed about tools and initiatives that can aid their work.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data and research to inform discussions, leading to actionable strategies that enhance engagement and collaboration among TLS stakeholders.
